My name is Cherese Cadet. I am a part-time Library Assistant at a public library system. I am also a graduate student at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA. My course of study is a Masters in Library and Information Science.
I have an undergraduate degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Journalism from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. I minored in English and Sociology. During my undergraduate studies I volunteered as a consultant for the on-campus literary magazine. I served as Corresponding Secretary for the campus chapter of Gamma Beta Phi Society. In addition, I held the Vice President of Publicity position in the Golden Key National Honor Society.
In high school I participated in yearbook staff and volunteered at a public library as teen volunteer during the summer.
Over the last several years, I have self-published four fiction eBooks. I created a blog to review fiction and provide writing tips. I have consulted on and edited several non-fiction and fiction books.
I have lived in several states throughout the U.S. during my life where I have made friends and experienced different cultures and regional customs. I am adaptable and versatile and look forward to new challenges.
